Launching of Provincial ECE Plan Balochistan

Balochistan takes the Lead Provincial & Districts ECE Plan 2011-15 The ECE Provincial & Districts Plans 2011-15 have been developed by Government of Balochistan Education Department in collaboration with SCSPEB and sponsored by UNESCO. The plan analyzes the existing situation in Balochistan with regard to Curriculum, Textbooks, teaching aid, etc. It also highlights the role of private sector in the introduction of ECE in the Province. |

| The plan includes the profile of the province focusing on its geographical features, history, administration, Population along its growth; means of communication, health facilities, educational facilities and educational indicators. The document highlights the requirement for introduction of ECE, its financial cost and also suggests viable strategies for the introduction of the ECE in all the schools of Province during next five years. It also highlights the multi dimensional strategies for remaining schools that cover 100% ECE Population in the next five years. The Plan also proposes a mechanism for Capacity Building of Education Managers, PTSMCs and pedagogical training of the teachers on low cost and in the shortest period of time. The Plan also covers the Monitoring and Governance aspects of the intervention. The Plan also sheds light on the role of the Community in ECE. After extensive discussions and meetings at various levels it was finally launched in a well participated meeting chaired by Minister and Secretary Education, Balochistan. | |
